This is individual and can vary from 1-1.5 kg to 2.5 kg per week. It depends on your metabolism rate, age, physical activity level, etc. But my recommendation is to use a tape measure along with the scale to track your circumference reduction. Don’t just keep track of your weight.

Most of the weight that is lost in the first week or two is water. This is a natural process as your body loses glycogen in the first few days. There is nothing wrong with that. The reason is that one molecule of glycogen attracts 3-4 molecules of water and as a result, when your body gets rid of the glycogen, it also sheds water. Don’t panic, once you no longer have glycogen stores, the ketosis process begins and you will lose fat. Just remember – drink plenty of water!

We live in dynamic times, but eating according to Keto does not aggravate the schedule. If you don’t have enough time to prepare your menu for the day, make sure you always have nuts, avocado and plain full-fat yogurt on hand.
